Why are there fewer products on the marketplace than in EffectConnect?

There will always be a reason why there are maybe fewer products on the marketplace than in your EffectConnect. A few of these reasons can be found by walking through the following checklist and links to other documents.

To begin, it is always handy to have a product for example that is not live on the marketplace but should be. In this way, you can perform a check on that specific product to find out why the product isn't offered online. If you don't have an example to troubleshoot onto, you can check the following list to exclude some of the other reasons.

  • Are the products you're missing out on added to the product selection you used in your channel settings

  • Do your blocking rules in your channel settings perhaps block the products for export?



  • Do the missing products perhaps have a delivery time that is blocked out for export? 

Last but not least, it could occur that products are sent to the marketplaces but not processed or put online for a certain reason. This can have multiple reasons, and some of them are unable to trace by EffectConnect which means we don't always receive an update from the marketplace of a product is turned online or not.
