Can I configure shipping costs in EffectConnect?

How you configure shipping costs depends on the marketplace you're selling on.

There are three options:

1. Include shipping costs in your product price

You can increase your product prices in EffectConnect to cover shipping and fulfilment costs. Some marketplaces, such as bol, require free shipping. In these cases, it's common to include shipping costs in your selling price.

There are several ways to include shipping costs in your pricing:

• Custom attribute: Use a product attribute containing your shipping costs in your price calculation.
• Surcharge: Add a surcharge to your selling price to cover shipping costs.
• Repricer: Include shipping costs in the minimum and maximum price formulas of your Repricer rules.

This allows you to account for shipping costs when calculating your marketplace selling prices and helps protect your profit margins.

2. Configure shipping costs on the marketplace

If you don't see an option to configure shipping costs in EffectConnect, you may be able to manage them directly through your marketplace seller account.

3. Configure shipping costs in EffectConnect

If the marketplace supports shipping costs through EffectConnect, there will be a shipping costs setting available in the channel settings.
