Securely sharing login credentials with EffectConnect
Sometimes it is helpful for our Customer Support team to take a look inside your back office, webshop, or marketplace environment. In that case, you can securely share your login credentials with us via the Credentials module in EffectConnect.
Securely sharing credentials via the Credentials module
You can safely share your login details through the Credentials module in EffectConnect. This information is stored in an encrypted environment. Our support consultants have read-only access and cannot add, modify, or remove credentials in your account. Only use it to login.
When we log in, we only access the plugins, settings, or areas that are necessary to investigate or resolve your request.
You always stay in control. You decide if and when credentials are added, changed, or removed.
⚠️ Never share login details with us by email. These will be deleted immediately, and we will ask you in a separate message to use the Credentials module instead.
How to add credentials in EffectConnect

Log in to EffectConnect.

Hover over your name in the top-right corner of the screen.

Click Credentials.

Click Create and enter a clear reference for the credentials
(for example: webshop login details). -
Add fields containing your information.

Give each field a clear name, such as username, password, link, or name.

Enter the corresponding information in the Value field.

Click Save when you are done.

Problem solved?
Edit or delete credentials via trash icon in the credentials rule.
