Switching webshop systems with EffectConnect

Your EffectConnect account is carefully set up around the identifiers, product data, attributes, and settings from your original webshop system, so everything runs smoothly and reliably.

Because our settings are largely stored based on identifiers (product IDs, product selections, price markups, custom attributes), it is necessary to create a new EffectConnect account if you switch webshop systems.

There are some exceptions, for instance, if you use a custom API connection to link to EffectConnect. In that case, you have the flexibility to choose which data source your data should be synchronized with.
