How does the Look-alike repricer work
You set the look-alike repricing action for each repricing line. When you activate the setting, you add an attribute containing the EAN codes for which we compare the prices. This means the setting does not compare with the same EAN, but takes the EAN from the attribute and finds the cheapest offer from this to compare with.
If the look-alike repricer does not find any offers, we use the normal scenario and EAN code.
How can I add EAN codes to the Look-alike repricer
The look-alike repricer needs EAN codes to compare prices with. These EAN codes can be added via an attribute created in the connection to EffectConnect or via a custom attribute in EffectConnect. More information about custom attributes can be found on this page.
Currently, this is a functionality that is only available for EffectConnect Scale subscriptions.
Good to know about the Look-alike repricer
The Look-alike repricer does have priority over the regular repricer settings. If the look-alike repricer does not find any offers, we use the normal scenario and EAN code.
There is a maximum of 50 EANs per product, not per rule. If the maximum of 50 values is exceeded, the first 50 values will count.
