When you have a feed of products that you want to use for Google Shopping, it is important that your feed meets the requirements of Google Shopping.
A common error message with Google Shopping is that sometimes the feed cannot be loaded because the price field cannot be imported correctly. In this case, it is important to compare the feed specifications of Google with your own feed. Although we will give you a hint.
Google expects a currency behind your price.
So if you enter a price of '5.99', this will not suffice. You will need to enter the price as '5.99 EUR'. You can achieve this by using custom attributes. You can then create a (standard) custom attribute with which you will combine 2 values.
On the one hand, your own price field, and you combine that with a text ' EAN' (note the space before 'EAN'). In this way, you will get a price attribute which, for example, displays "5.99 EUR".
After creating the custom attribute, you can select the attribute in the feed structure of your Google Shopping feed.
