When product information on the marketplace differs from the information on the marketplace, it can have several causes.
Good to know is that you are often not the only seller, so there may be product information offered by multiple sellers. It is then up to the marketplace to determine which information from which seller will be processed.
When you want to offer product information to the marketplace, always make sure your product is in a mapping group that is filled out and enabled towards the marketplace. With mapping groups, you send your product information to the marketplace.
If the above is the case, and the required information has been completed in the mapping group, you can check the following points to see if they solve your problem.
- Is the mapping group recently created? If so, please wait, as it may take some time for your product information to be forwarded. You can read more about these times here.
- Does your information meet the guidelines of the marketplace? Many marketplaces require that images, for example, meet certain requirements. If they do not meet these requirements, all content may be rejected.
- Are you the owner of the product information on the marketplace? Do you have the right to modify the information? In this case, it is best to contact the marketplace.
It is also possible that there are other reasons why your information is not placed online. Please keep in mind that if you have created mapping groups in EffectConnect (and they are filled out correctly) the cause can probably be traced back to the marketplace.
If the content is not processed by the marketplace for some reason, we, unfortunately, cannot force anything. In that case, it is best to contact the marketplace.
