Productdetailpage

In EffectConnect, a product page refers to the page where you can view and partially manage the details of a specific product. The product page provides insight into various relevant information that we have imported about the product from your data system or webshop, as well as information you have subsequently added in EffectConnect, such as through custom attributes. A product page usually contains the following sections:

Product Properties

Product properties are specific standard characteristics or data that form the basis of a product. These properties come from your webshop or data system.

Some key product properties include:

  • SKU – Usually the internal item number from your own system, sometimes a unique number generated by the integration.

  • EAN – The barcode from your own system.

  • Price – Typically the product price displayed on your website.

  • Stock – The stock level from your own system.

Attributes

Imported Attributes

An overview of all attributes we have imported from your own system. These are often additional attributes containing product specifications such as colour, dimensions, etc.

Custom Attributes

This section provides an overview of all custom attributes that have been assigned a calculated value based on set conditions for the open product.
If a product does not display a custom attribute, although it is expected to, this could be due to a configuration setting for that custom attribute.

You can also click the eye icon at the end of the row to go directly to the custom attribute and its settings.

Freely Fillable Attributes

Here you can view all custom attributes to which you can manually assign your own value at product level.

Channel Attributes

This section displays channel-specific attributes. These might include the reprice value for a channel, your minimum and maximum price from a repricer, or your delivery type (e.g. FBB/FBA/own delivery).

Attributes from Additional Data Sources

In this tab, you can view all attributes that are imported into EffectConnect via an additional data source and linked to the open product. These attributes are useful, for example, when enriching content in a content mapping.

Attributes of translation rules

This overview shows all attributes created by translating attributes through translation rules in our translation module.

Images

Here you can see at what level (main product level or product option level) the product has images and in what order they are displayed in the catalogue.
Note: the actual order of images on the marketplace is determined by the settings of the relevant marketplace.

Channels

This overview displays the most recently sent price and stock levels of a product. In addition, product-specific prices can be set here, or further export information can be viewed.

Channel Settings (at product level)

Within the ‘Channels’ tab, product-specific channel settings for pricing can be created via the ‘cogwheel’ icon at the end of each row.

For example, you can enter a fixed price or a pricing formula that will only apply to the open product.

Export Information

Also within the ‘Channels’ tab, export information can be opened via the icon at the end of each row.

Export information shows, among other things, the processes sent to a marketplace for the open product.

For Bol and Amazon connections, ‘Live Views’ of items are also available.
These might display, for example, the current price shown on those marketplaces or the reason why a product is not being displayed.

Mapping

Here you will find an overview of the content mapping rules created for this item within the channels themselves. You can also click directly through to a mapping rule and see whether a rule that includes the product is currently enabled.

Prices

This overview shows which repricer rules the product is included in, and via the eye icon at the end of each row, past reprice actions can be viewed per rule.

Product Selections

This section provides an overview of the product selections in which this product appears. You can also open a product selection directly from this overview.

Multilingual Data

If multiple languages are imported into EffectConnect from the source system or webshop, it is important to know that the product page includes an option to display the data in a selected language.  In most tabs where language-dependent values can be shown, there is a ‘Show data in’ option to change the language of the product information display.
