What do I need to start using EffectConnect?

Starting with EffectConnect is easy, and most of the time quickly realized. However, there are a few basic requirements to get started.

 

kb-info Keep in mind that you can only start actively selling on a marketplace once you have arranged everything needed there. You need a seller's account for each marketplace, something you need to arrange yourself.

Only when your seller account is created at the marketplace, you can start automating with EffectConnect. So make sure you have your accounts in order first, before you start with EffectConnect or new channels.

 

We did our best to make our software as user-friendly as possible and our customer success colleagues are glad to help you any time. However, there are a few things that are really necessary in order to get started with marketplace automation. 

A data source
To get connected to EffectConnect you don't need much. The most important thing is that you have a data source that you can connect to EffectConnect, where we can receive data (such as your stock levels, prices, products). This can be a webshop or an ERP system. To see which systems we support, you can click here. This is necessary because we need a source to pull your data from and export orders to the marketplace. 

    A marketplaces sellers account
    In order to start selling on the marketplaces, you need an account at the marketplace(s) (and contracts) and data to get started. To read more about getting started on marketplaces, read this article
