If a product is not imported into EffectConnect, there is almost always a good reason for this. EffectConnect imports the products from your data source or webshop, but it is possible that certain products are skipped or not imported due to a certain reason.
Follow the checklist below to see if this helps you out, if not, you can always contact us. We're glad to help you out.
- Does the product still need to be synchronized? It can take a while before a (newly added) product is imported into EffectConnect. To know how long this can take, you can read this article.
- In the case of a webshop that uses store views, please check if the product you're missing out is placed in the correct store view, which is set for import in the EffectConnect settings. If you need any help regarding this, contact us.
- Does your product contain mandatory questions asked on the webshop? For example, have you set up a field where the customer must define a certain choice to order the product? Then make this question optional. As long as the question is mandatory, the product will be skipped during import. The reason for this is that the question you made mandatory, can't be exported to the marketplace, which makes it impossible for your webshop to accept orders on this product.
Please keep in mind that, after changing the settings of the mandatory questions, it can take a while before the product is changed in EffectConnect. To read more about the interval of this update, read this article.
