What happens to your current listings when you start using EffectConnect?

Are you already selling products on a marketplace and planning to start with EffectConnect? It is important to understand what will happen next.

What does EffectConnect do? 

Once you connect a marketplace through EffectConnect, the system starts synchronizing your assortment. EffectConnect sends updates for stock, prices, and other product data, but only for products that are known within EffectConnect.

In other words, only products that are available in EffectConnect through your webshop (or connected data source) will be managed and updated.





Already selling products on the marketplace?

Make sure these products are also available in your webshop. As soon as they are imported into EffectConnect via your webshop, EffectConnect will take over the management and automatically keep the product information up to date on the marketplace.


Our advice

Always use the same SKU and EAN codes in your webshop as you use on the marketplace.

This ensures that EffectConnect can correctly match products and apply updates.


What happens to products that are not in your webshop?

If products are live on the marketplace but not available in your webshop (and therefore not in EffectConnect), they will not be updated. EffectConnect does not recognize these products and therefore cannot manage or synchronize them.
