Everything you need to know about the marketplace Darty

About Darty

Darty is a popular e-commerce platform in France and is part of the Fnac Darty Group. The platform focuses on electrical household equipment across a wide range of categories. Darty’s target audience mainly consists of customers between 29 and 49 years old. Darty has 36 million active customers and attracts more than 20 million unique visitors per month.

In addition to offering new products, Darty also allows sellers to offer second-hand and refurbished products.

Requesting a seller account

  •  Complete the online registration form at marketplace.fnacdarty.com. 
  •  You must be able to provide after-sales service in French. 

   Make sure you have a professional seller account before connecting Darty through EffectConnect.

Settings & configuration

  •  Go to Apps > App store in your EffectConnect environment 
  • Search for the Darty app
  •  Two apps will appear, click the first one: 

  •  Click on 'more info' > 'Create an integration with this marketplace'

Settings that only apply to Darty:

  1.  Dutch/French product description attribute
    Go to Settings > Offers
     Select the attribute in EffectConnect that contains the Dutch and/or French product description here. 
  2. Refurbished and second-hand
    Go to Settings > Offers
    Darty allows you to sell both new and refurbished or second-hand products. You can specify the condition or state of the product under Attribute for product condition.
  3. Sustainability attributes and eco-participation
    Multiple attributes are available under Settings > Product offer. 
  4.  Free shipping
    Go to Settings > Delivery time
    Here you can indicate whether free shipping applies and, if so, to which products. 

Adding or enriching content on Darty

Darty does not offer automatic content synchronization. You therefore
need to upload your product information manually in .csv format through your Darty seller account.

Make sure all content is written in French before uploading the file.

Troubleshoot

My (new) products don't show up in my Darty account

  • Check whether the products are included in the product selection for Darty in EffectConnect.
  • Check whether the products have stock.
  • Check in EffectConnect whether any error messages are returned on the offers.
  • Check whether the synchronization times are respected.
  • If the products still don't show up, contact us for further support.
