What is the bol reduced commission reduction?
When you get sales on a marketplace, you usually have to pay a commission per order. With one marketplace this is a percentage, another an amount but sometimes a combination of both.
At bol you pay both a fixed amount and a percentage of commission. This is predetermined per category.
However, bol has a nice addition for their sellers. They make certain prices available for products, and when you adjust your product price to that price (or lower) then the commission you pay is reduced. For example, you might not pay 15% but only 6%.
So basically, if you lower your product price a little, you may pay less commission and your profit may be higher.
If you wish to use the regular price when the minimal price is higher than the maximum price for reduced commission you can activate a setting in per reprice rule.
To find out what your product prices need to be in order to qualify for this, it is best to contact bol's partner service. They can provide you with the correct data.
