About Allegro

Allegro is the most popular shopping platform in Poland and the largest e-commerce platform of European origin. 


They operate a marketplace model which means that customers can buy whatever they need from over 135,000 merchants, who can list an unlimited number of offers on their platform.

They offer products in all key categories including Automotive, Fashion, Home&Garden, Electronics, Books and Collectibles, Kids or Health and Beauty. Each month, 22 million customers visit their platform, which is equivalent to almost 80% of all Internet users in Poland. They can choose from over 250m offers at the most attractive prices with maximum convenience including fast and free deliveries under the Allegro Smart! programme, modern financial services (Allegro Pay), as well as Poland’s widest 50k pickup points network.

Also, Allegro has its own loyalty program called Allegro Smart! For a small additional fee, customers can take advantage of free delivery, free returns to pick up points, lockers, and via parcel. In addition, with Allegro Smart! customers have access to daily deals, shopping events, and exclusive presales.

By using Allegro Smart!, you as a seller are assured of better listings and higher conversions!

How to create or enrich product data on Allegro?


You can create products on Allegro by manually adding this information to your Allegro seller account or you can use our mapping tool to synchronize product data towards Allegro.

Mapping groups are still mandatory to get your products online. Please pay attention to a correct and good-filled mapping group, before you send your product URL to your account manager (next step).

Language for content creation
We determine the working language based on the language you select when creating the Allegro connection. You can submit content in Polish, English, Czech, Slovak and Ukrainian language. Allegro performs a translation on it automatically. This auto translation is overwritten if you submit content for that specific language yourself.

All other languages you set here are automatically made into Polish in the backend.

Settings & configuration

Mandatory settings that concern the Allegro channel only in comparison to other channels in EffectConnect are:

Warranty settings
To set your warranty and return policy on Allegro, go to Settings > offers > Warranty settings.

In EffectConnect, you can choose which warranty or return policy from your Allegro account applies to each attribute value in your catalog. This allows you to customize your warranty options based on your specific needs.

About the synchronization times 

An Allegro channel synchronizes according to the default synchronization times EffectConnect maintains. Read more about our synchronization times.

Troubleshoot

I don't have, or forgot, my API keys for configuring Allegro

You can generate new keys inside your Allegro seller central. If you don't know where to find them, please contact your account manager at Allegro.

My (new) products don't show up in my Allegro account

  • Check if you correctly configured your channel
  • Check if the products are enabled in EffectConnect
  • Check if the products are mapped in EffectConnect
  • Do you see errors in the logs when you publish your offers? Then solve this by using the displayed error. Every 10 minutes, this information is resubmitted to Allegro.
  • Check if the synchronization times are respected. If the products still don't show up online, contact us for further assistance.
  • Please keep in mind that it can take a few days before products show up online in your Allegro dashboard. Contact your account manager at Allegro if you need help regarding the acceptance of products or content on this marketplace.
