How to create or enrich product data on Maisons Du Monde?
There are two operations needed to get new products online or to enrich existing data on Maisons Du Monde.
- You can create products on Maisons Du Monde by creating a mapping group in EffectConnect. To read more about creating mapping groups, and how this works, read this article and read the part of 'creating a mapping for a channel in the Channel Manager'.
When selling on Maisons Du Monde, add content in the language of the country you want to sell in. Map this content in the Maisons du Monde France channel for all countries. For exporting different prices, stock, or delivery times, add an additional channel in EffectConnect.

A way to check if your offers and content are processed by Maisons Du Monde
Go to the seller dashboard.
To check your offers navigate to 'my inventory > import from file > track offer imports'.
To check your content, go to 'my inventory > import from file > track product imports'.
On these pages, you can find the reports that Maisons Du Monde has to show if products are processed, accepted, or rejected.
Troubleshoot
I don't have, or forgot, my API keys for configuring Maisons Du Monde
You can generate new keys inside your Maisons Du Monde seller central. If you don't know where to find them, please contact your account manager at Maisons Du Monde.
Products are shown double in my Maisons Du Monde account, what now?
This normally happens when you've changed the SKU's that are being used. In this way, products are created again, and the old ones will remain in your dashboard which leads to double products.
The way to solve this is to remove the products with the 'old SKU's. If this happened with a lot of products, you can empty your inventory at Maisons Du Monde and request our customer success department to refill your inventory by re-sending the offers.
My (new) products don't show up in my Maisons Du Monde account
- Check if you created a mapping, which includes all the mandatory data.
- Check if the products are enabled in EffectConnect
- Check if the synchronization times are respected. If the products still don't show up online, contact us for further assistance. Please keep in mind that it can take a few days before products show up online in your Maisons Du Monde dashboard. If you need any help regarding new products that need to be accepted by Maisons Du Monde, contact your account manager at Maisons Du Monde.
- If you're using the legacy channel, it is mandatory to fill in both French and Spanish titles and descriptions of your products. If you only add 1 language, your products will be rejected.
This can be solved by filling in both languages or migrating to a Channel Manager channel. Please contact our support department to know more about a channel migration, we're glad to help you out.
To know which channel you're using, navigate to 'channels > Channel Manager' and see if your channel is categorized in the V1 section, or the Channel Manager section.
