      Rue du Commerce is a popular French online marketplace that was founded in 1999. It offers a wide range of products, including electronics, home appliances, fashion, beauty products, and toys. The platform is known for its competitive pricing and fast delivery times.

      The platform has a user-friendly interface and offers various payment methods, including credit cards, PayPal, and installment payments.

      Requesting a seller account

      • Go to the Rue du Commerce website and scroll all the way down > click on Vendez sur Rue du Commerce > Devenir Marchand > fill in the form and submit (Netherlands = Pays-bas).
      • Used marketplace software: Mirakl
      • Each marketplace may have its own terms and conditions, always read them carefully before you start selling. 

      Settings & configuration

      Mandatoy settings that concern Rue du Commerce only: 

      Language for product creation
      As a French based marketplace content must be submitted in French. It is not possible to create or enrich product information, using another language.

      Titles
      May contain a maximum of 40 characters.

      Brand
      Brand may not appear in title, will be automatically matched in mapping.


      Images
      JPEG,  PNG and GIF are allowed and must comply with the following measurements:

        • Maximum size : 1600 x 1600

        • Minimum size : 800 x 800

        • Maximum file size : 10240ko (important)

      Product description
      HTML and CSS are allowed.

      You can create products on Rue du Commerce by creating a mapping group in EffectConnect.

      Troubleshoot 


      I don't have, or forgot, my API keys for configuring Rue du Commerce

      You can generate new keys inside your Rue du Commerce seller account. If you don't know where to find them, please contact your account manager at Rue du Commerce.


      My (new) products don't show up in my Rue cu Commerce account

      • Check if you correctly configured your channel.
      • Check if the products are enabled in EffectConnect.
      • Check if the products are mapped in EffectConnect.
      • Do you see errors in the logs when you publish your offers? Then solve this by using the displayed error. Every 10 minutes, this information is resubmitted to Rue du Commerce.
      • Check if the synchronization times are respected. If the products still don't show up online, contact us for further assistance.
      • Please keep in mind that it can take a few days before products show up online in your Rue du Commerce dashboard. If you need any help regarding new products that need to be accepted, contact your account manager at Rue du Commerce.
