The repricer does not change my prices(correctly), what can I do to solve this?

When the repricer doesn't adjust your prices correctly, there are a couple of things you can check to see if this solves the problem.

kb-info  Please keep in mind that it can take a while before the repricer starts repricing the products. For a new rule with new products, this can take up to 5 days before you see changes happening. This is because (new) product- and price information is requested at the marketplace, and it can take a few days before this information is sent to EffectConnect.

After this initial request, the updates will be received more frequently, even multiple times per hour.

  • Is your product showing the wrong price on the marketplace? Then you can check the following points.
    • Is the price synchronization enabled in your channel settings?
    • Is the new price already updated towards the marketplace? You can read more about how often EffectConnect synchronizes data in this article.
    • Does your product has a 'fixed price' in EffectConnect? Then this price will by default have a higher priority than the repricer. You can change the priorities of your prices when configuring a channel (in the price settings).
    • Is your product placed in multiple repricer rules? Only the price of one rule will be sent to the marketplace. You can check this by opening your product in EffectConnect, and going to the tab which says 'repricer'.

It is no problem if a product is placed in multiple rules, which all separately are for a different channel. But if you have a product placed in more rules for the same channel, it is advised to change your repricer rules so the product is only placed in 1 rule.

kb-info When a product is included in multiple repricer rules or channel attributes, the rule or attribute with highest price will be used.

Is the price that is calculated, not correct by the formula you configured? Then check if the formula is made up properly.

      • Have you used Eurocents for your formulas?
      • Are the placeholders you used, correct?
      • Have you built the formula in the correct way? Using the parenthesis in the correct way for example? If you need any help with this, please contact us.
