About Fnac.fr
Fnac is a large French department store and online marketplace, mainly active in selling electronics, household equipment and books. This is a major player in the market with an annual revenue of 3.9 billion Euro and worth paying attention to. Fnac acquired the Darty Group in 2016, which comprises of several marketplaces, amongst others Vanden Borre.
Please keep in mind that you must have a seller account with the marketplace, without an account you cannot sell. Each marketplace may have its own terms and conditions, always read them carefully before you start selling.
What about Fnac Belgium?
Next to Fnac France, there is also Fnac Belgium. These are two separate marketplaces, and for this reason, seen as two different channels in EffectConnect. If you would like to know more about Fnac Belgium, read this article.
Must know, before beginning
Before starting your automation with EffectConnect, you need to inform the account manager of Fnac.fr that you want to sell on Fnac.fr, with the use of automation software (in this case EffectConnect).
You can do this by sending an e-mail to Romain Friess, below you'll find his e-mail address.
Next to that, you can ask Julie for your Shop ID and API keys. You are gonna need these when configuring your channel.
How to create or enrich product data on Fnac.fr?
There is no content mapping available for the data import process, so you will need to manually upload your product information using a .csv format directly through your Fnac seller account.
Please be aware that content submissions can be made in French. However, for listings on Fnac.be, it is crucial to provide product information primarily in Dutch, as this is a specific requirement of the marketplace. If you have any additional questions regarding data submission or formatting, we recommend reaching out to Fnac for assistance.

Troubleshoot
I don't have, or forgot, my API keys for configuring Fnac.fr
You can generate new keys inside your Fnac.fr seller central. If you don't know where to find them, you can contact Fnac at the following e-mail address: dl-fd-aFNAC.pi.mp@fnac.com.
My (new) products don't show up in my Fnac.fr account
- Check if the products are enabled in EffectConnect
- Check if the synchronization times are respected. If the products still don't come online, contact us for further assistance.
- Please keep in mind that it can take a few days before products come online in your Fnac.fr dashboard. If you need any help regarding new products that need to be accepted by Fnac.fr, contact your account manager at Fnac.fr.
