About Kruidvat

AS Watson, the largest Health & Beauty retailer worldwide and the organization behind Kruidvat, Trekpleister, and ICI Paris XL, is launching Kruidvat Marketplace in 2023. This marketplace aims to provide a more comprehensive omnichannel customer journey for their customers on Kruidvat.nl and Kruidvat.be.

Kruidvat has opted for a closed marketplace where the assortment offered through Kruidvat Marketplace complements their own assortment, and only one seller is displayed per item.

Good to know about product information requirements

When you want to sell products on Kruidvat that aren't available yet or you want to enrich product information, you can manually add this information to your Kruidvat seller account, or you can use our mapping tool to synchronize product data towards Kruidvat. In order to sell products on Kruidvat, a Dutch marketplace, it is essential that you provide the product information in the Dutch language. This information can be added to your webshop or you can utilize our "additional data sources" module. This feature in EffectConnect allows you to add extra product information without any interference with your existing connection. For instance, you can load a CSV file into EffectConnect to include additional product details.

Troubleshoot

I don't have, or forgot, my API keys for configuring Kruidvat

You can generate new keys inside your Kruidvat seller central. If you don't know where to find them, please contact your account manager at Kruidvat.

My (new) products don't show up in my Kruidvat account

  • Check if you correctly configured your channel.
  • Check if the products are enabled in EffectConnect
  • Check if the synchronization times are respected. If the products still don't show up online, contact us for further assistance. Please keep in mind that it can take a few days before products show up online on your Kruidvat dashboard. If you need any help regarding new products that need to be accepted by Kruidvat, contact your account manager at Kruidvat.
