About Decathlon
Decathlon is an expert within the sport- and retail sector for over 40 years. They managed to build a trusted brand with a strong reputation, with over 1500 stores in more than 55 countries. The online website from Decathlon Belgium registers over 13,6 million unique views every month.
Please keep in mind that you must have a seller account with the marketplace, without an account you cannot sell. Each marketplace may have its own terms and conditions, always read them carefully before you start selling.
Optional Repricer available for Decathlon
With this channel, you can use EffectConnect's optional Repricer, which automatically adjusts your prices based on formulas and rules you create yourself.

Good to know about selling in different countries
You can offer your products in multiple countries when you sell through Decathlon.
In your dashboard of the Decathlon seller account you decide in which countries your products should be for sale. You can set this globally, but also individually for each product. To know more about this, contact Decathlon.
Within your channel settings in EffectConnect, you can also set the countries to which you want to forward your offers. Our advice is to set the same settings in EffectConnect and in your Decathlon account.
Good to know: if another provider offers the same product as you, in a country that you don't offer initially, you will automatically offer the product in this country as well. For example: if you only offer your products in the Netherlands and Belgium, and a competitor offers a product in France (which you also offer, but not in France), you will automatically become a supplier in France as well.
There is no way around this. If you have any questions about this, please contact your Decathlon account manager.
How to create or enrich product data on Decathlon?
There are two operations needed to get new products online or to enrich existing data on Decathlon.
You can create products on Decathlon by creating a mapping group in EffectConnect. To read more about creating mapping groups, and how this works, read this article and read the part of 'creating a mapping for a channel in the Channel Manager'.
Please keep in mind that all our new connections are configured in the new Channel Manager, but it can occur that you're still connected via the legacy channel connection. In that case, you need to read the part of 'creating a mapping for a legacy channel'.
To know which channel you're using, navigate to 'channels > Channel Manager' and see if your channel is categorized in the V1 section, or the Channel Manager section.
Good to know: For Decathlon it is necessary to have Dutch data imported into EffectConnect. It is not possible to create or enrich product information, using another language with a Decathlon channel.
Keep in mind that it is not possible to forward product information with HTML formatting to Decathlon. If you have HTML formatting in your descriptions, it will be filtered out when exporting to Decathlon.
About the synchronization times
A Decathlon channel synchronizes according to the default synchronization times EffectConnect maintains. To read more about our synchronization intervals, read this article.
A way to check if your offers and content are processed by Decathlon
Go to the seller dashboard of your account.
To check your offers navigate to 'my inventory > import from file > track offer imports'.
To check your content, go to 'my inventory > import from file > track product imports'.
On these pages, you can find the reports that Decathlon has to show if products are processed, accepted, or rejected.
Troubleshoot
I don't have, or forgot, my API keys for configuring Decathlon
You can generate new keys inside your Decathlon seller central. If you don't know where to find them, please contact your account manager at Decathlon.
Products are shown double in my Decathlon account, what now?
This normally happens when you've changed the SKU's that are being used. In this way, products are created again, and the old ones will remain in your dashboard which leads to double products.
The way to solve this is to remove the products with the 'old SKU's. If this happened with a lot of products, you can empty your inventory at Decathlon and request our customer success department to refill your inventory by re-sending the offers.
My (new) products don't show up in my Decathlon account
- Check if you created a mapping, which includes all the mandatory data.
- Check if the products are enabled in EffectConnect
- Check if the synchronization times are respected. If the products still don't show up online, contact us for further assistance. Please keep in mind that it can take a few days before products show up online in your Decathlon dashboard. If you need any help regarding new products that need to be accepted by Decathlon, contact your account manager at Decathlon.
