Do you have an active connection to Vtwonen via fonQ?
Starting from November 14 to November 15, 2024, Vtwonen will migrate its marketplace from a combined 'Vtwonen/fonQ' account to a Vtwonen-only account.
If you have received new credentials for your Vtwonen account, please contact our support consultants to add the new Vtwonen-only channel to your EffectConnect environment!
About Vtwonen
Vtwonen began in 1964 as a magazine focused on leisure activities, and has since evolved into a comprehensive home advisory service. It assists customers in decorating and styling their homes through various media channels.
In 2019, fonQ took over the management of Vtwonen's webshop, branding it as 'vtwonen by fonQ' and adding a focus on e-commerce. While fonQ handles the logistics, Vtwonen focuses on its strengths: creating appealing collections and developing effective marketing strategies.
Requesting a seller account
- Contact Vtwonen to register as a seller
- Please note that Vtwonen operates as a closed marketplace, which means they will assess whether your products align with their requirements before approval
Note: make sure you have a commercial seller account before connecting Vtwonen via EffectConnect
Settings & configuration

Previously, Vtwonen required a fonQ connection, but as of November 2024, it operates independently, allowing a direct connection via EffectConnect.
Vtwonen NL and BE
The Netherlands and Belgium have been integrated into a single Vtwonen connection. This means that the prices and delivery times you export will be the same for both countries.
How to create or enrich product data on Vtwonen?

Troubleshoot
I don't have, or forgot, my API keys for configuring Vtwonen
You can generate new keys inside your Vtwonen seller central. If you don't know where to find them, please contact your account manager at Vtwonen.
My (new) products don't show up in my Vtwonen account
- Check if you created a mapping, which includes all the mandatory data.
- Check if the products are enabled in EffectConnect
- Check if the synchronization times are respected.
- If the products still don't show up online, contact us for further assistance.
